Firstly - The negative. 2006 Mk5 Gti. I'no mechanic but it sits too close to a water valve in the bay. Once the engine is working of course it moves. This cause the valve to come off and pissed water everywhere. The valve can be twisted round in order for a good fit. Once fit it does then sit touching another engine part that thankfully sits on small hoses so it's cool to move a little.
Performance wise - AWESOME!!!!!!!! Sound wise - AWESOME!!!!!! You drive to the sound of air when pottering about town.. If you screw it.. you get that turbo whistle. It's subtle but it's always there for an ear that knows induction. The power band never gives up - Smooth as you like.. Combine with a Downpipe and leave your Backbox as Stock - Thats my advice.
