Integrated Engineering valve Guides are the performance option for replacing factory guides for new valves. In performance head builds, factory guides are prone to excessive wear resulting in premature valve failures. To combat these issues their valve guides are made from a specialized alloy on their in house CNC lathe with ultra high concentricity for exact valve placement and precise dimensions. Using a proprietary bronze alloy results in faster heat dissipation where thermal conductivity is increased by 10% and extends valve life, guide life, and cylinder head component life. For added performance, these valve guides have been designed with an aerodynamic tip designed to cut down on airflow restrictions in the valve port.

Valve Guide Undersized Inside Diameter:

All IE valve guides are sold with an undersized inside diameter. This allows the engine builder to ream the guides after installation and set the stem-to-guide clearances exactly where they need to be since different valve materials require different clearances. This feature eliminates any guesswork associated with replacing the guides. To make installation simple, IE machined a small centering lip on the tip of each valve guide, which allows them to press into the head straight and consistently. See below section for recommended valve guide clearances.

Recommended Clearances:

Every engine builder will have his or her own specs, but as a general rule of thumb, we use the following valve-to-guide clearances.

Ferrea Stainless Intake - 0.0008" to 0.0012"
Ferrea Super Alloy Exhaust - 0.0013" to 0.0015"
Ferrea Stainless Exhaust - 0.001" to 0.0015"
Supertech Stainless Intake - 0.0014" to 0.0024"
Supertech Stainless or Inconel Exhaust - 0.0018" to 0.0028"

Do we ship abroad ?

Yes we do, to almost anywhere in the world though remember the postage is often high when shipping anything bulky. Most bulky items we export will go by UPS so you can track the package online and could reach America within 48 hours providing its in stock !

However there are a few countries we do not ship to, some of these include: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Nigeria, Macedonia, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon.

Why is postage on bulky items to some countries expensive compared to some other companies ?

For both yours and our safety we use well known couriers such as DPD Local and UPS for shipping, then we know exactly where it is in the world at any time and we know its going to arrive safely. Shipping small items can be cheap, but items such as bodykits are expensive to ship - we have a very small margin on the postage fees merely to cover packaging. We can now ship using standard post on some items, however using all methods you may incur import charges when you receive the goods for which we cant be responsible for.
