Calibrations from scratch

RacingLine Performance Software (formerly OEM+) uses OEM methods and calibration techniques to not only deliver fantastic increases in both BHP and torque, but provide an enhanced driving experience while preserving a smooth calibration and keeping an acceptable level of economy. Reprogramming is performed in the way the manufacturers would, allowing RacingLine Performance Software to achieve the results it can.

Not just over-writing the existing software — RacingLine develop a complete new calibration from scratch for each model, in harmony with the equally well-engineered hardware RacingLine produce.

RacingLine's TCU software, unlike many other providers, is a dynamic calibration allowing you to further tune your ECU software without the requirement to upgrade the TCU — the dynamic software will adapt to the current ECU tune. Both ECU and TCU calibrations are available, and as a bundle for many applications.

Once you have purchased Stage 1 ECU software, upgrades to Stage 2 will be free of charge (software only, T&Cs apply), allowing you to enjoy each stage of tune and move on to the next at your pace without a further software cost. Hardware will be required to support the higher stages, and Stage 3 can be chargeable depending on the turbo package.

You don't need RacingLine hardware to run RacingLine software. If you already have other intake, cat-back or turbo hardware fitted, the calibration still works — RacingLine matched hardware just unlocks the largest gains from the same software stage.

RacingLine PDM — Power Delivery Module

RacingLine Performance Software can be flashed here at Awesome in our modern facility and dyno, or in many cases can be flashed at home by yourself using the RacingLine PDM (Power Delivery Module). The PDM pairs with your car's ECU, lets you switch between stock and tuned maps, and pulls fault codes. If you cannot reach us, we can reach you — the PDM is posted out and the file flashed without a workshop visit.

Pricing

RacingLine pricing is by engine. The Stage 1 cost includes future Stage 2 software upgrades for the lifetime of your ownership (T&Cs apply) — no extra charge to step up the power as RacingLine release new calibrations. Stage 3 may carry a charge depending on the turbo package.

RacingLine Performance Software FAQ

What does "OEM-method tuning" actually mean?

RacingLine reprogram the ECU from the basis of the controller itself — the same approach the manufacturers use — rather than tweaking a base file. Each engine gets a calibration developed specifically for it, focused on driveability and consistency rather than just peak power numbers.

Are the Stage upgrades really free?

Stage 2 software is free of charge for as long as you own the car (T&Cs apply — software only; hardware will be required to support the higher stage). Stage 3 may carry a charge depending on the turbo package. We flash the upgrades for you here at the workshop, or you can do it at home with the PDM.

What's the PDM?

The RacingLine PDM (Power Delivery Module) is a handheld device that pairs with your car's ECU, lets you switch between stock and tuned maps, and pulls fault codes. Useful if you want to drop back to stock for a service or a track day — and the way you flash future software upgrades without a workshop visit if you can't get to us.

Can I switch back to stock?

Yes. The software has a True Stock function that returns your ECU to the exact state it was in before tuning. Within the first 30 days, that comes with a full money-back guarantee.

Do I need RacingLine hardware to run RacingLine software?

No. The software works with the hardware you have. If you've already fitted other brand intake, cat-back exhaust, intercooler or turbo upgrades, the calibration runs on those without issue — RacingLine matched hardware just gets you the largest gains from the same software stage.
