Interim Service
Every 12 months or 10,000 miles (whichever comes first)What's included. Oil, oil filter and sump-plug replacement (we only use the highest grade of oil supplied direct from the main dealers). Visual inspection of engine bay and vehicle body. Check and top up fluid levels as required; check lights, wiper blades, brakes, tyres (damage, pressure and tread depth including spare), all drive belts, fuel system and pipe work, cooling system (including fan operation), wheel bearings, suspension (shock absorbers, springs, joints, mounts and bushings), drive shafts and boots, brake lines (flexible and fixed), wheel-alignment quick check, exhaust, seatbelts. Computer diagnostics check using Ross-Tech VAG-COM. Reset service light, road test and service wash.
Full Service
Every 24 months or 20,000 miles (whichever comes first)Everything in the Interim Service, plus: air filter, spark plugs (petrol vehicles), fuel filter (diesel vehicles). Lubrication of all moving parts (doors, hinges, locks, catches and gear linkage); check quality of brake fluid and antifreeze, gear-oil level, differential-oil level (where possible), operation of all controls and switches; adjust handbrake (where possible); check air conditioning and pollen filter.
Optional upgrades. Any service on a petrol car can be upgraded to use Millers Nanodrive oils for an additional £24.00 on 4-cylinder vehicles, £39.00 on 6-cylinder vehicles, or £48.00 on 8-cylinder vehicles. We also offer an additional engine-oil flush service at £11.99 alongside service work.

How it works
Servicing FAQ
Can I service my car outside of the VAG network?
In order to keep your car's warranty valid, your car will need to be serviced using approved parts. You can get your car serviced anywhere, and by visiting Awesome, you can be sure those all-important approved parts are used.
Do I really need to service my car every year?
There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to car servicing, but it's recommended to follow manufacturer guidelines — and more frequently on tuned or performance vehicles — to allow you the least hassle-free motoring.
What service does my car need?
Some models will show on the dashboard which service is required; otherwise it's worth checking your service book for what the vehicle had last time. Services should alternate between an Interim and a Full Service each year or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first.
What other services may I require?
Modern VAG Group vehicles also require periodic extra services such as timing belt changes, DSG oil changes (on automatic cars), and Haldex oil & filter changes (on four-wheel-drive cars) at mileage-based intervals. Aircon gas and brake fluid changes are also required at various points in the vehicle's lifetime depending on usage.
What oil, filters and plugs do you use?
To ensure we keep within the EU Block Exemption ruling we use all approved parts and VAG Group Quantum oil — this means your car will keep its original dealer warranty intact while your servicing work is at Awesome.
