If you've got a 1.8 or 2.0 TFSI, a remap paired with an intake upgrade is usually the natural starting point, and if you're chasing bigger numbers, a turbo upgrade like the IS38 conversion has become something of a go-to for owners wanting to push well past standard power figures. The diesel models aren't left out either. TDI owners often see a solid improvement in everyday drivability from a well matched remap, without needing to touch anything else on the car.

Audi A3 8V Parts for Handling and Suspension

Handling upgrades on the A3 8V split by drivetrain more than people expect. Front wheel drive cars and quattro models use different rear sway bar setups, so a bar built for FWD won't simply bolt onto the other, and it's worth checking which you've got before ordering. Beyond sway bars, lowering springs and full coilover kits are both available if you want the car sitting lower as well as handling sharper.

Braking and Styling Upgrades

For A3 8V owners after a serious brake upgrade,  Vagbremtechnic’s 4-piston Brembo kit is one of several substantial options available. This setup combines 4-piston Brembo calipers with 370x32mm discs, VBT steel brackets and HEL braided brake lines for a comprehensive front brake upgrade.
