Engine Tuning for the 2.0T

RacingLine builds a performance intercooler specifically for the older 2.0T EA113 and EA888 Gen1 engines, addressing the point where the factory unit starts to hold power back once things heat up. Their  diverter valve upgrade covers the EA113 and earlier EA888 engines found across the Mk2 TT range, and replaces the factory unit with a billet aluminium piston design built to respond faster under boost.

The TTRS is also well known for suffering from heat soak, particularly once power is increased, so an uprated intercooler is a worthwhile supporting modification.
