Upgrade the exterior styling on your 2015+ Volkswagen MK7 / MK7.5 GTI or Golf R with the ECS Tuning Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler Extension. Our Hatch Spoiler was engineered in-house and designed to follow the curves and lines of the body to offer a more aggressive look that matches the factory appeal of the GTI and Golf R. Crafted from high quality vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer to achieve its world class appearance and durability provides a sporty style that's sure to set your vehicle apart from the rest. Installs atop the factory hatch spoiler with no drilling, cutting or any permanent modifications.

PART DESIGN

Designed and engineered in-house using state of the art 3D laser scanning and CAD technology for precision fitment
Accentuates the OE body lines throughout the outer edge of the spoiler
Designed to be an offset of the OE spoiler with a seamlessly integrated duck bill for the most OE plus appearance
Smooth/ seamless transition from the OE lines to ECS spoiler
Retained OE side blade dimple feature that carries on above the doors
Utilizes 3M double sided tape for a strong bond to the body on the top and bottom side of the OE spoiler to avoid any paint chafing
Made from lightweight, vacuum formed gloss black ABS polymer that is enhanced with UV-stabilizer

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Our ECS Gloss Black Hatch Spoiler was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.

INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

Once you have the spoiler lined up, simply remove the liner on the pre-installed high strength dual sided tape sections and press the spoiler firmly onto the trunk lid. See our Installation Guide for general surface prep and installation.
4 sterile antiseptic alcohol wipes (ES2918127) are suggested for proper installation.

FITMENT

This spoiler fits Hatchback Mk7 and Mk7.5 Golf Models.
This spoiler does not fit Estate / Variant / Wagon / Sport Tourer / Station Wagen models.

Do we ship abroad ?

Yes we do, to almost anywhere in the world though remember the postage is often high when shipping anything bulky. Most bulky items we export will go by UPS so you can track the package online and could reach America within 48 hours providing its in stock !

However there are a few countries we do not ship to, some of these include: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Nigeria, Macedonia, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon.

Why is postage on bulky items to some countries expensive compared to some other companies ?

For both yours and our safety we use well known couriers such as DPD Local and UPS for shipping, then we know exactly where it is in the world at any time and we know its going to arrive safely. Shipping small items can be cheap, but items such as bodykits are expensive to ship - we have a very small margin on the postage fees merely to cover packaging. We can now ship using standard post on some items, however using all methods you may incur import charges when you receive the goods for which we cant be responsible for.

Really happy with this not seen many with this. Fits perfect if you match it up right added more 3 m tape to be on safe side

Nice looking low key spoiler, fits well and looks nice on car, only critic is i had to add more tape to side parts as felt a bit loose, i intend to buy the same front splitter and fog light vent surrounds

Really happy with Awesome GTI service; I asked a question about availability and they the very next working day. It also arrived much quicker than expected. So top marks for that!
As for the item itself; lightweight and fits like a glove with genuine 3M tape in a multitude of places, so its not gonna fly off.
Adds a subtle extended look, rather than a bold statement.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
