I was really pleased with the original exhaust on the car, the sound was really nice, I just loved it. Since my second one gave up the ghost I decided I would go for a different system. I have not been disappointed with this exhaust, really nice looking, easy to fit and sounds not too far off the original. I am very happy with this exhaust, I was also delighted with Awesome’s service too. One very happy customer thank you .
Although I'm old and crusty, I've always wondered what having one of these would bring to my (VW Polo 9N3 GTI) driving experience. Now I know - it's lots. Claims that there are performance gains to be had from fitting one aren't really worth listening to as a good re-map brings the extra power you need. What you get from a really good quality exhaust are - better aural presence and a bigger tail pipe, but not in a gaudy 'Subaru dustbin' way. The effect of larger openings is to make the rear of the car look more purposeful in a 'do you feel lucky?' kind of way. And the sound - oooooh!, but only when you want it. I opted for the non-res version and glad that I did. I now need more tunnels for that 'open window' delight. I figure the exhaust will outlast the car. So life isn't perfect, but the exhaust is.
Shocked at how nice this makes the car sound.
