About the Mantis MTP-1003 VAG 1.8/2.0/2.9/3.0/4.0 TSI Performance Ignition Coil.
This versatile VAG 1.8/2.0/2.9/3.0/4.0 TSI Performance Ignition Coil covers the later generations of Volkswagen Group turbocharged petrol engines.
Most popular are the 2.0 TSI EA888 gen3 & gen4 applications, including the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R Mk7 and Mk8, Audi S3 8V & 8Y, SEAT Leon Cupra and the newer Cupra Leon, Ateca and Formentor, Skoda Octavia vRS and Superb, plus many more VAG vehicles using these great engines.
Beyond the 4-cylinder engines, the same Ignition Coil also supports the Audi S and RS models with 5 and 6-cylinder engines, including Audi RS3 8V (facelift) and 8Y, the 3.0 V6T found in Audi S4, S5, SQ5, and 2.9 V6TT as used in RS4 & RS5. Many Porsche Macan, Cayenne and Panamera with these engines are also included in this coil's application list.
Finally, this Ignition Coil continues right up to the mighty 4.0 V8TT found in C8-generation RS6/7/Q8 and Lamborghini Urus.
That's an application list that spans across engines ranging from the EA888 four-cylinder to the inline-5, V6 and V8 TFSI units from around 2012 to 2026.
These engines sit at the heart of many of the most commonly tuned modern Volkswagen Group cars. The MTP-1003 gives this broad performance family a single, direct OE plug-and-play ignition coil upgrade.
