Akrapovic is one of the biggest names in performance exhausts, and we stock the titanium range across Golf, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Porsche models here at Awesome GTI. If you're after a lighter, unique sounding system that still looks factory fit, this is where to start.
What We Stock
Our exhaust range covers everything from the titanium Slip-On Line for the Mk7 GTI to the Evolution Line for the RS Q8 and Macan GTS. Most systems come finished with Akrapovic exhaust tips in titanium or carbon fibre, so you get the visual upgrade along with the performance gain. If you're building out the look further, the matching carbon rear diffuser is a popular pairing for Mk7 GTI owners.
The numbers speak for themselves. The Mk7 GTI Slip-On takes you from 227.6bhp to 231.1bhp, shaving around 6.6lbs off the exhaust in the process. The RS Q8 Evolution Line offers a similar story: a small nudge in power and torque, plus a 17lb weight saving.
Checking Compatibility Before You Buy
Not every Akrapovic exhaust is built the same way. The Evolution and Race lines are designed for different jobs, and it's easy to end up with the wrong one if you're going on looks or price alone. Some kits are road legal straight out the box, others aren't, so we always check this before anything ships. Not sure exactly what your car takes? Browse the full Golf Mk7 range, or Macan range to double check your model and spec before ordering.
Why Buy Your Akrapovic Exhaust From Awesome GTI
We hold real stock, not just listings, and our own workshop in Manchester can fit your new exhaust once it arrives. Interest free finance is available too, if it helps spread the cost. Buying an Akrapovic exhaust UK wide isn't hard, but getting the right system fitted properly by people who know these cars takes a bit more than a warehouse and a courier.
A lot of the Evolution and Slip-On Line exhausts come with ECE type approval for road use, but adding a sound kit or link pipe can cancel that out. Race Line kits are usually track only.
What is the difference between Akrapovic Evolution and Race exhaust?
The Evolution Line is the road going option, it keeps your catalytic converters and usually carries road approval. The Race Line goes further, less weight, more noise, and it's built for track days rather than the road.
Do Akrapovic exhausts improve performance or just sound?
Both, though don't expect huge power gains. On a Mk7 GTI Slip-On we saw bhp go from 227.6 to 231.1, the bigger win is really the weight saved and how good it sounds.
Which Akrapovic exhaust fits my VW Golf/Audi A3?
Fitment comes down to your exact generation and engine, Golf and A3 share some exhaust setups but not all of them. Check the listing against your chassis code, or just ask us and we'll confirm before you order.
