APR Carbon Intake System for Audi S5 4.2FSI

APR Carbon's latest carbon fibre intake for the 4.2L FSI V8, 3.2L FSI V6 and 3.0 TDI engine is a ram air design that completely separates the intake filter from the engine bay. Building from years of experience on and off the race track, APR Carbon's and APR's engineering teams have spent countless hours developing a true cold air and ram air carbon fibre design that can be recreated affordably for the street performance enthusiast.

For many years professional motorsport organizations have suffered great expense to properly tune the air intake delivery system for use in endurance and sprint races where every last horsepower and pound feet of torque can make the difference in position when crossing the finish line. Historically these designs have proven to be the most efficient and powerful although the most expensive to produce.

Aftermarket performance companies have attempted to capitalize on these designs however the cost restraints have typically resulted in compromise and deviation from the true engineering principles associated with motorsport accomplishment. Don't be fooled by catch phrases and tag lines alluding to a new intake technology or special design characteristic. You won't see any of these gimmicks installed on race cars at the Nurburgring.

APR Carbon and APR have gone even further to maintain all oem specifications necessary to integrate cohesively with an otherwise stock engine to avoid raising eyebrows at the dealership. Flexibility was another characteristic of APR Carbon's and APR's design whereas the new intake is also suitable for Stage 1 and Stage 2 modified engines all the way up to an APR Stage III Supercharger System in the case of the S5 4.2L FSI V8!

Do we ship abroad ?

Yes we do, to almost anywhere in the world though remember the postage is often high when shipping anything bulky. Most bulky items we export will go by UPS so you can track the package online and could reach America within 48 hours providing its in stock !

However there are a few countries we do not ship to, some of these include: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Nigeria, Macedonia, Syria, Ukraine, Lebanon.

Why is postage on bulky items to some countries expensive compared to some other companies ?

For both yours and our safety we use well known couriers such as DPD Local and UPS for shipping, then we know exactly where it is in the world at any time and we know its going to arrive safely. Shipping small items can be cheap, but items such as bodykits are expensive to ship - we have a very small margin on the postage fees merely to cover packaging. We can now ship using standard post on some items, however using all methods you may incur import charges when you receive the goods for which we cant be responsible for.
