This exhaust is available in two options: resonated, which includes a centre silencer to reduce drone and provide a more refined sound; or non-resonated, which removes the original silencer for a louder, more aggressive tone.
Does their system retain or remove valve functionality? If optioned as valved, drivers will retain control of the car's soundtrack via the mode select button, allowing the ECU to modulate the sound levels from the Scorpion exhaust. Alternatively, with a non-valved system, this functionality is removed, providing a continuous exhaust tone without interruptions from the OEM valve operations.
Once installed, the acoustically tuned silencers — featuring specialised, unique internals (on systems equipped with mid-silencers or backboxes) — and precision CNC mandrel-bent pipework enable the exhaust system to expel engine gases more efficiently. Valve Delete Module:
Ensure no CEL (check engine light), no fault codes, and full functionality of all drive modes when fitting a non-valved exhaust system with our valve delete modules. They work with any non-valved exhaust, not just Scorpion systems!
Easy to Install: Simply plug into the OEM connector under the car and secure the OE valve harness away from the exhaust using the included cable tie. The fully waterproof design makes for a true fit-and-forget solution, with no mapping required.
Please Note: If you already have fault codes from disconnected valve motors, clear them with an OBDII reader before installation.
